Our cars are priced by the month, which means we can offer better rates than traditional 28 day hire agreements. You also have the option to extend your car hire for another month, or swap into a different car from month to month if your plans change. Our monthly prices do not include insurance, but you can add it for £7 per day, or source your own insurance should you prefer.

As you’re committing to 2 full months, our 2 month rental rates are typically lower than other rental firms who charge by the day. 2 month car hire from mycardirect starts at just £399 (inc. VAT) per month for a Citroën C3 Aircross. We charge a one off £275 joining fee which makes you a member for life, and a fully refundable damage deposit returned at the end of the hire (typically £500). If you’re coming to the UK from overseas and want to rent a car for 2 months, the good news is you don’t need to be a UK citizen, UK resident or hold a UK driving licence to hire a car with mycardirect. There are a few things you should know however to make the process of renting a car from mycardirect as straightforward as possible.
Our daily rental service functions like any other, we just need two forms of ID to rent: one with a signature, and one with your home address (please note exclusions on the basis of age, occupation and driving history apply).
To use our long term (monthly) rental service we require a little extra information about yourself, including proof of address, proof of affordability, and UK bank details. Our monthly rentals are a popular option for people coming to the UK for 2 months or longer, and if you extend your stay you can enjoy our great rates on 3, 6, 9 or 12 month car hire. Our Hemel Hempstead branch is just a 45 minute taxi ride from Heathrow and Luton airports, for easy access when you arrive.
Can I Rent A Car For 2 Months Anywhere In The UK?
With mycardirect monthly rental we offer delivery anywhere in the mainland UK. Unfortunately we do not offer our monthly service in Northern Ireland. Our delivery fee varies depending on distance from the depot, and costs £90 per hour. Payment is agreed and taken prior to delivery. You can of course always collect your vehicle from our branches in Hemel Hempstead and Birmingham free of charge.
When we hand over your vehicle our expert team will inspect the car or van for any imperfections, and demonstrate the features of the vehicle. If you run into trouble whilst you’re out on the road, all of our rentals come with roadside assistance included. Your car shouldn’t need any maintenance during the 2 months you have it, but in the event that it does the cost of all maintenance (excluding accidental damage) is included in your monthly price.
