Sleek styling

The EV6 is built on the same platform as Hyundai’s Ioniq 5, and like its sister car the styling is pretty sci-fi. But where the Ioniq 5 is going for Robocop, the EV6 is more like Black Panther – with sleek lines and sporty styling touches. Comparing it to other cars in its class rather than superheroes, the EV6 is slightly larger, and definitely better looking than a Jaguar I Pace.

A quality interior

With no need for pipes, exhausts and a traditional drive train that go underneath the car, the EV6 has a perfectly flat floor, which means more leg room for you and your passengers. Leg room in the back is particularly generous, but up front drivers will enjoy electronically adjustable lumbar support, and a cabin with build quality to rival an Audi Q4 E Tron.

I was looking for a small SUV with automatic transmission for three months in the summer of 2023. My home is in north Northumberland and MyCarDirect delivered the car and collected it at no charge. The range of cars was extensive and I chose a Citroen C3 Aircross which was almost perfect. Its only downside was a lack of cameras or even a parking sensor, which I found unnerving on a strange car.

When I mentioned this after the end of the subscription, my contact told me they would have swapped out the car had I mentioned this earlier.

This was the last of many interactions with my contact at the company and is typical of the level of care I enjoyed.

I'll certainly be using MyCarDirect the next time I'm looking for a subscription and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Good experience, only protective carpets are missing and would be great for protecting the original carpets from dirty shoes etc.

Worked with Jeffrey, Mark and Tony to set up delivery of a vehicle the day after we arrived in the UK after living in Canada for many years. Other vendors didn't seem able to facilitate a subscription with the time difference (-7hrs) and it became all too difficult so I gave up on them. Mycardirect were very responsive and went the extra mile to make sure all my questions were answered and a couple of issues resolved. Pricing was very competitive and a well equipped shiny new vehicle arrived as promised. I shopped around a bunch of vendors and they were by far the best.

The process was very straightforward and easy.

Be sure to check with your sales advisor about the specs of the car you are requesting, as mine was advertised with a certain package, but not delivered with such package. MCD was quick to apologize and discount my rate to make up for it.

After having a frustrating experience with an auto brand subscription service whose process demanded huge amounts of my personal information for what was extremely opaque and unhelpful process I almost swore off car subscriptions altogether. We contacted mycardirect to see what their process was and got a speedy callback from Duncan who was very reassuring and clear about what information they needed and how long it would take.

I was able to get the car much faster and for a better monthly price than the other place, but more importantly the service is much more personal and you get to deal with actual people!

Every step of the way the communication has been excellent and immediate and everyone we’ve dealt with at the company has been so lovely - particularly Mark and Tony who were both very patient with all my questions!

Mark has been absolutely fantastic to deal with while getting our new car , I was on holiday in the middle of arrangements and he couldn't have been more accommodating . We have 12 cars with my car direct the service they provide is excellent in fact after the amount of let downs we have had from other companies who promise vehicles they are the only ones that always deliver, these guys do what they promise. Don't waste your time on companies that say they have high end cars they string you along. You will get what you want with My Car and as a customer we intend to add more cars to our fleet because of the brilliant customer service.

Mycardirect Hemel rental site was fantastic. Service from the office was second to non.
Found the car l needed and did not price gouge when there were non available.
The office ladies even helped getting me home on a train strike.
Five star service, cars and price. Will be using every time as first option when the need arises.

Fantastic! Very professional and easy to work with. The entire process from start to finish was straightforward & clear and best of all you actually get to speak to a real person easily! I dealt with Michael who was outstanding in his customer service.
Great cars - even better price compared to the usual rip off at the airport. Definitely worth the short journey from Heathrow to Hemel Hempstead to collect the car.
I will definitely use this company again.

Fantastic service these guys offer! It's been an absolutely godsend having the choice and flexibility of cars and rolling contracts. I used them while I was waiting for my new permanent car to arrive. When it ended up arriving earlier than planned, I was able to adjust my subscription accordingly. The whole process has been completely hassle free! Great communication, added peace of mind and the car was delivered and collected to/from my home. I couldn't ask for anything more! 315 mile range

A 315 mile range is Tesla territory, but claimed range and real world range always differ, and in the real world the EV6 will happily manage 255 miles. On real roads that’s London to Bristol and back along the M4, or a round trip from Birmingham to Leeds.

Two way power

The EV6 is built to accept the highest phase of charging available in the UK, and can go from 10% to 80% in under 20 minutes. Unfortunately there are only a few hundred ultra rapid chargers in the UK, but the EV6 can do something even cooler – you can charge things from it. You likely won’t charge an e-bike or run a kettle from your car very often, but you can sell electricity back to the grid at peak times, or even charge another electric vehicle from it.
