Mycardirect offer flexible monthly car and van rentals across the length and breadth of the UK. We offer delivery for a fee which increases based on distance, or you can collect your vehicle from one of our branches.

Our cars are priced by the month, which means we can offer better rates than traditional 28 day hire agreements. You also have the option to extend your car hire for another month, or swap into a different car from month to month if your plans change. Our monthly prices do not include insurance, as we allow you to choose your own insurance.

How Much Does It Cost To Hire For 1 Month?
Our monthly rental rates are priced roughly in line with 28 day hire rates from other rental firms, with the monthly price decreasing significantly if you rent for a longer term. 1 month car hire from mycardirect starts at just £399 (inc. VAT) per month for a Citroën C3 Aircross. We charge a one off £275 joining fee which makes you a member for life, and a fully refundable damage deposit returned at the end of the hire (typically £500). I'm Coming To The UK And Want To Rent For 1 Month.
You don’t need to be a UK citizen, UK resident or hold a UK driving licence to get a car with mycardirect. There are a few things you should know however to make the process of renting a car from mycardirect as straightforward as possible.
Our daily rental service functions like any other, we just need two forms of ID to rent: one with a signature, and one with your home address (please note exclusions on the basis of age, occupation and driving history apply).
To use our long term (monthly) rental service we require a little extra information about yourself, including proof of address, proof of affordability, and UK bank details. As such while our monthly rentals are a popular option for people coming to the UK for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months, if you’re coming to the UK for just 1 month it may be easier to rent by the day instead. Our Hemel Hempstead branch is just a 45 minute taxi ride from Heathrow and Luton airports, for easy access.
Can I Rent For 1 Month Anywhere In The UK?
With mycardirect monthly rental we offer delivery anywhere in the mainland UK. Unfortunately we do not offer our monthly service in Northern Ireland. Our delivery fee varies depending on distance from the depot, and costs £60 per hour. Payment is agreed and taken prior to delivery. You can of course always collect your vehicle from our branches in Hemel Hempstead and Birmingham free of charge.
When we hand over your vehicle our expert team will inspect the car or van for any imperfections, and demonstrate the features of the vehicle. If you run into trouble whilst you’re out on the road, all of our rentals come with roadside assistance included. Your car shouldn’t need any maintenance whilst it’s out for a month, but in the event that it does the cost of all maintenance (excluding accidental damage) is included in your monthly price.
