A short term lease from mycardirect is a regulated agreement, and there are a few things we need to know about you before we can deliver your new car. We need to know who you are, where you live, and that you can afford the vehicle, so that we can underwrite you. After you place your order you will receive a link to upload all of your documents via our secure upload service CREDAS. We require.
- A selfie – So we know it’s really you.
- A photo of your driver’s license – Both front and back.
- Proof of address – Such as a utility bill, council tax bill, tenancy agreement, or letter from HMRC.
- Proof of affordability – We may ask for bank statements, to prove you can afford the vehicle.
As part of our process we carry out a credit check on all of our customers. Our approval process is based on affordability. If you have a strong credit score you may well be approved automatically, if your credit is weaker we may ask for additional affordability information.
