4 Land Rover Vehicles Available On Subscription
Land Rover car subscription is the flexible way to drive a legendary vehicle. Known for being reliable whilst maintaining a regal aesthetic, Land Rovers are the upmarket way of going anyway and doing anything. Mycardirect have four Land Rovers available on subscription – read on to learn more.

1. Land Rover Evoque
The Range Rover Evoque is a premium SUV that you should consider if you want stylish looks, a high-tech interior and the ability to traipse further off-road than the likes of the Audi Q3, BMW X2 and Volvo XC40. In fact, this all-new model features some of the fanciest 4×4 tech of any small SUV, which is a bit like wearing all the latest gear for a Himalayas expedition for a stroll to the shops. From the front, it looks much more fresh-faced thanks to some hand-me-down headlights borrowed from its bigger brother – the Velar – as well as some tasty copper-coloured details in high-spec R-Dynamic guise. Things feel very different inside, however, where you’ll find a feast of high-tech features – like those modern digital cameras that have been made to look like a retro 35mm item. All models come with at least a 10-inch screen, but higher trims come with two screens stacked on the centre console. Go for a top-spec model and you get three infotainment displays including a digital driver’s display.
2. Land Rover Discovery Sport
The Land Rover Discovery Sport is one of the exceptions to the rule that a car with Sport in its name must be a high-performance model – or at least have racy go-faster looks. What this large SUV does do is offer a more compact and affordable alternative to the enormous Land Rover Discovery, and if you peer beneath the surface you’ll see that it has more in common with the Range Rover Evoque. While the Evoque focusses on chiselled, catwalk styling, though, the Discovery Sport’s boxier lines mean it’s better at catering for space-hungry families. The Discovery Sport has been updated with visual tweaks to the exterior, a much plusher interior and a more sophisticated infotainment system. The refresh also introduced mild-hybrid technology to most of the engines, which should reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
3. Land Rover Defender D300 HSE
The Land Rover Defender is a rugged SUV that fuses fantastic off-road ability with decent on-road manners. If that’s the blend of abilities you’re after, it’s effectively in a class of one. This D300 straight-six diesel has 296bhp and more than enough low-down pull for effortless in-gear acceleration (on or off-road). It’ll do 0-62mph in as little as 6.7sec, depending on whether you go for the 90 or the 110. Whether or not you think the Defender is deserving of its rugged styling or hallowed moniker, there’s no disputing the all-round utility and unerring capability of a big-capacity oil-burner sending its reserves to both axles. There is, admittedly, a slightly delayed response when you stab the throttle, which can be a teeth-clencher on busy roundabouts and the like, but you’ll make up any lost ground quickly once the six-shooter wakes up. It’s also pretty smooth and quiet and comes with an excellent eight-speed automatic gearbox.
4. Range Rover Sport Autobiography
The Range Rover Sport Autobiography Dynamic is the most luxurious Range Rover Sport – only the Range Rover SVR is more expensive. It rivals the Porsche Cayenne, BMW X5 and the Mercedes ML-Class SUVs. The Range Rover Sport Autobiography blends a supple ride with good handling. It’s not quite as fun to drive as a Porsche Cayenne, but it’s a lot more comfortable. It’s also very quiet inside and feels upmarket, stylish and expensive. On the road, despite its size, the Range Rover corners far better than you think, with less roll. Off road it is as capable as the full-size Range Rover – and is well-deserving of the Land Rover badge. It comes with a panoramic glass roof, three-zone climate control, cooled front seats, a heated steering wheel and adaptive cruise control. A pricey but exceedingly well-equipped option. The D300 is our favourite of the Range Rover Sport’s engines. It’s a 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel that’s impressively smooth and has plenty of performance from low down in the rev range. Flat out it’ll crack 0-62mph in 7.3sec while you should get over 30mpg without too much difficulty
